started the cfl season with a loss.

RRaiders@Argos under 49.5

Both teams excited about this season as Sask will host the Grey Cup and Toronto signed the veteran QB Allen from BC to get them to the big game this season.
I don't think any of these two teams will make it. No chance in hell, but at least, this year in the CFL all teams look like contenders. Everything can happen, but a SASK vs TOR final will not happen for sure. That's a lock

Back to the game.

RRaiders and Argos played 3 very low scoring games in their last 4, and only one game hit 51 pts, while the other three totaled 38, 28, 25 pts which is extremely low for a CFL game. Toronto offense should improve this year but this will be Allen's first game with these receivers and I think it will take some time, at least a couple of weeks, to get the air-attack going. In their two pre-season games they allowed 5 and 18 pts, for an average of 11.5 pg and it seems that their defense is serious about this season. Sask. scored 51 pts against Winnipeg in their first exibition game, and then scored only 10 in their second game. They allowed 17 points in both exibition games.

Sask's unconsistent offence face Toronto's unproved offense. Recent history favours low scoring. I will bite the under here.

By the way, BC and BC money line are stil the plays for friday.

Saturday : Edmonton -6.5

Last year teams on 3 days rest struggled to score points. Montreal is playing this game on three days of rest, just after a 23-20 come from behind win in OT against calgary (they trailed 20-1 at some point i think). Home opener for Edmonton, and a huge revenge game for them (they lost to the Allouettes in the GC final last season). Montreal offense and special teams looked very bad against calgary. They miss a lot of key players from last year and it shows already. Edmonton outscored two contenders in their two preseason games 55:19.

Recap :

Saskatchewan@Toronto under 49.5
BC Lions +4
BC lions +155 (1/2 unit)
Edmonton -6.5

whats up?
seems like this thread has been getting fewer and fewer posts lately
just thought i would add an opinion on a game

tonight i like the dodgers to complete the sweep of the giants, i am a contrarian player,
the money is on the giants tonight, my logic is strange but i like the fact the the twins avoided the sweep today by the royals so this series tonight i feel will be opposite, this sweep will come in, the one thing i dont like is that the giants are favored, would rather see the dodgers favored but seems like the public is betting against the dodgers 8 game win streak and the linesmakers know this so they set the giants as the fav tonight so they can take more money away, ah well , im just the drunk

my guy has dodgers +120 and thats my play

one other goofy thing i like is that the giants are favored on the road against the a's tomorrow , they are at -111, so hopefully the dodgers come in tonight and it will set up a play on the giants tomorrow, as the a's have been on a mini hot streak running off 6 straight wins, sweeping the expos and the rangers
